Ahhh! I love it when students contact me and request to meet with me to talk about their grade and their progress in the class. :) Warm fuzzies. If only more students would do that. If they realized how much brownie points they'd earn with me, I'm sure they would!

This blog has chronicled my development as a graduate student in Educational Psychology. I have recently joined the professoriate. Will the nature of this blog change? I surmise that every stage of life requires growth, and perhaps this blog will reflect the growth I hope to enjoy as I navigate this new stage of life within the ivory tower.

Hahaha! You aren't actually a pain in the neck! You were a stinker when we were kids, but aren't we all?
And yep, I think that I've "adjusted" cut points between grades before based on how much effort a student put into raising their grades and meeting with me to talk about how to raise their grades. I bet that does contribute to some people's grades, but professors are not always that gracious, just the softies like me! :)
