Whew! I'm getting more back from the IRS than I expected this year. And it almost covers the full amount of my landscaping bill. I'm quite relieved, but still in shock by the fact that I might be able to pay it off so soon. Now on to the business of preparing to lecture tomorrow.

This blog has chronicled my development as a graduate student in Educational Psychology. I have recently joined the professoriate. Will the nature of this blog change? I surmise that every stage of life requires growth, and perhaps this blog will reflect the growth I hope to enjoy as I navigate this new stage of life within the ivory tower.

I'm glad to hear that you are going to get more money back that will cover your bills! I'm getting some good money back too, I think I will be putting it into a new car. That silver Saturn sounds nice for you though. :)
