Full Immersion Baptism

I got full immersion baptized a couple of weekends ago. I was very excited about it and I'm glad I was able to do that in the church I'm in now. It was very special because the baptism was interactive. Members of the church, most of whom I knew, came up to the stage to view the baptism and give words as they felt led. I received quite a few words and all were really meaningful. I'm going to get a recording of the baptism and I hope to write the words I recieved from God. Everyone was really excited for me and I felt so exhilirated that others could spread their joy over my decision to get baptized. I wanted to do it to show my obedience and dedication to the Lord. I had been sprinkle baptized as a baby, so this time it was my decision and it was full immersion, which symbolized the completeness of my surrenduring to Christ (as opposed to a sprinkle of obedience here and there!)

Interesting Picture

It's fascinating how the sun in the background looks like a cross on the American flag.
